Hi friends 👋
If you’ve been following me for a while, you probably know how much I hate clutter.
That includes my tool stack too.
Over the years, I’ve tested way too many marketing tools. Some were great, some were just cool, but not so useful.
I just did my regular checkup and updated my “Handpicked Tools to Run Your Marketing Ops” page with what I actually use and recommend now.
(and removed a few I don’t use anymore).
The tools I actually use every day
Brand24 — The best social listening tool. I use it to see what the target audience is talking about across the web, social media, and forums like Reddit in one place. The insights are useful for creating relevant content or providing your audience with the features they actually need (if you have a SaaS tool).
Beehiiv — For hosting and sending my newsletter. Its built-in monetization tools help you start earning even with a small amount of subscribers.
Granola — I think Granola is hands-down the best note-taking app. I use it on every single meeting I have. But what I also love to do lately is running it when I’m listening to podcasts or YouTube videos. Considering I usually listen to these while cooking or doing something else, it’s super helpful to get Granola save all the main points you don’t want to forget or take action later.
Claude — Using Claude Cowork to execute tasks for me like browsing the web for something very specific. Or finding and adding event participants on LinkedIn. I also use its Skills function for different tasks (e.g., turning my raw notes into a structured LinkedIn posts.)
ChatGPT — No matter the hype around Claude, I still use ChatGPT for brainstorming and structuring my ideas.
Notion — Everything basically lives here, including my project goals, client pipeline, content ideas.
Todoist — A new task management app I’m obsessed with. It’s extremely easy to organize and schedule your tasks using natural language (you can also ramble into it, which is super cool and useful).
I hope you find an interesting tool in the list that’ll make your life easier.
Or take this as a sign to review your stack.
See you next week,
Kate 🌟
